Healing starts with connection, not a checklist.

Looking for a Trauma Therapist in London, Ontario, Who Will Work At Your Pace?

At Boyd Therapy and Wellness, we believe people make sense in the context of their experiences.

You are not broken. You are someone whose nervous system learned to survive, and those patterns made sense when you needed them. Our job is to help you understand where they came from, and support you in building something new.

Our work is grounded in the belief that real change doesn't start with solutions. It starts with connection. Through a safe, authentic therapeutic relationship, we help community members in London, Ontario explore how their experiences have shaped their thoughts, relationships, and sense of self, and begin to move toward something that feels more grounded and whole.

Drawing from years of crisis mental health experience in the London, Ontario area, we've worked alongside people at their hardest moments. We specialize in complex trauma, and we know healing is possible. Not because we say so, but because we've seen it happen, again and again, when people feel truly seen.

Boyd Therapy and Wellness serves individuals and couples in London, Ontario and virtually across Ontario.

Therapy for Everyone

We are committed to working with individuals who have struggled to find a good fit in therapy and who are living with complex mental health needs that require time and trust, including Complex Trauma and diagnoses such as Borderline Personality Disorder. Our team's background in community-based Crisis Services uniquely equips us to meet people in these challenges with steadiness and care. While this is not a crisis service, our hope is to support healing and lasting change through a relational approach rooted in safety, consistency, compassion, and a true human connection. With a trauma-informed lens and a belief that people can heal, we walk alongside individuals as they explore what healing and change mean for them.

Mood, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm Anxiety, depression, shame, grief, postpartum struggles, and emotional dysregulation that feels hard to explain or control.

Identity and life transitions Indigenous identity and wellness, 2SLGBTQIA+ identity and relationships, perimenopause, major life changes, and rebuilding your sense of self.
